The Day Her Father Started To Smile Again

It's been gone a long time, even that tiny smile. Look, it's even in his eyes! Progress. We have a long road ahead of us, still, I know...but I'm choosing to see this as encouragement. At this point, I HAVE to have something to hope for.

  8. It is so nice to see just that hint of a smile, but how could he not. The person sitting next to him could make anyone smile. I hope some more sunlight is filtering into his days.

  9. New reader, saying this is wonderful news and I rejoice for you. Our lives are very similar, right down to the baby chicks, but I have not yet seen the beginning of a smile on my partner.
