GIANT! FREE! MIFFY! YOU WANT ONE!

Because I am all about subtlety. And because when Mir asks, you can't say no. Well, probably some people can say no to Mir, but I am not one of them. And even if I was, I'm highly convince-able anyway.

What's all the hubbub? Well, it's all over this cutie, with whom you are well familiar if you have a small child:

It's Miffy! And she's huge (like, over 2 feet tall)! And she's wearing...um...a spacesuit! (Some of us have speculated it's "pajamas," but we'll leave that open to inerpretation. It can be an exercise in imagination! That's the ticket!)

Wouldn't YOUR child like to have a giant spacesuit/pajama-clad Miffy? She's HUGE. 28" tall. And the folks at Ty's Toy Box are the only ones who have her, and they're GIVING her away. The only other way to get one is as a bonus $1 purchase with any regular Miffy purchase for a limited time through Ty's Toy Box.

OK, so why am I telling you all this? I have one of these giant spacesuit/pajama Miffy plush dolls, a Ty's exclusive, to give away to one of my readers. Here's all you have to do:

1. Visit www.tystoybox.com, browse around a bit, then come back here by 11:59 CST WEDNESDAY, and leave a comment on this post about something you saw while you were there, that you think your child would love (anything, doesn't have to be Miffy-related--this is about feedback).

2. I will choose, at random, using some magic internet randomizer thingie that Mir found, one commenter to receive this giant plush spacesuit/pajama Miffy doll! That's it!

If you decide to go ahead and do some shopping while you're at Ty's (and once you look around a bit, you very well might), here are a few things you might want to keep in mind:
1. Right now, there is automatic free shipping on any domestic orders over $65
2. Right now, you can get a $10 international shipping credit on any international order over $65
3. TODAY, you can enter coupon code HOLIDAY5 to get $5 off any order of $50 or more.

And now the only bad news: Due to the size (ginormous) of Giant Spacesuit/Pajama Miffy, this offer is limited to the U.S. only. :-(

So, head over to www.tystoybox.com, come back here and comment on what you see, and win a chance at a free prize. Help Mir show Ty's that bloggers really do have a lot of influence when it comes to things like SHOPPING.

  2. I just did some shopping at Ty's a few weeks back. They are one of the only places where a person can still score Wiggles merchandise. I purchased a Wiggles suitcase and a Wiggles necklace. Next up? I'll probably get her a pair of the Big Red Car Light Up Shoes. Hooray for Ty's Toy Box!

  3. My kids are a bit older - into the tween set (gah!) - but my 11-year-old daughter is ALL about High School Musical and would possibly kill for the HSM2 DVD board game. She has asked for that for Christmas, actually. She'd also love the pajamas.

Moratorium on everything Hannah Montana in our house, or she'd want to buy out the store on that one. I wish I were kidding.

  7. I don't have a kid, but my nephew would love the Miffy stuff. He would also love the Max and Ruby stuff and the Backyardigans stuff. I think he just loves toys, though. I think I'd like the Miffy coffee mug, too, as I have a thing about collecting rabbits. : )

  8. This was my first exposure to Miffy and my 2-year-old was sitting on my lap when the picture came up. "Bunny! Wearing a snow-SUIT! Looooooove!" So, needless to say, Miffy will be quite welcome in her toy box.

Looking at the Ty's Toy Box site, we're very interested in the owls, especially the grumpy looking one, the rhinoceros, Nickels the Frog (because tot is very into scarves right now), and Holiday Chubbs (because penguins crack her up).

I want the snowman for myself!

  10. I have no clue about this Miffy of which you speak, but it sure looks adorable. I think commenting has put me into your drawing, but please don't pick me! :)

  11. I checked out Ty's toy box - me thinks I will be checking out the Max and Ruby stuff - my niece and nephew love those cartoons - I don't get it.

Thanks for turning me on to Etsy.com, too. I've already ordered a few xmas gifts from there.

  12. My daughter would love Miffy for Christmas. I never heard of Ty's toybox before, but I bookmarked the site. Great options for HSM2 and Hanna Montana other than the Disney store

  13. I don't have a kid, but that is super cute. Does it have a bow or a space pack? Whatever a space pack is? I hope whoever wins it posts a picture!

  14. My nephew would enjoy the Tmx cookie monster on Ty's toy box website. My nephew would like the Miffy doll because he watches the show everyday and it is very educational show. He likes count along with Miffy when counting. MIffy would be a great addition to his family of plush dolls.
