A Thousand

"Mommy, I love you...a THOUSAND."

"A thousand?"

"Yeah--that's the biggest number in the world that I ever heard of! How much do you love me?"

"A thousand and one."

  2. You should teach her some bigger numbers so she can become an effective exaggerator! It's one of my favorite things in life.

YEAH THERE WERE TWO THOUSAND OF THEM, MOM. LIKE TWO MILLION OF THEM!!!!!!!

I can't think of a good subject for her exaggerating. Maybe bugs?

  3. One of my granddad's pet peeves was exaggerating. He hated it. Said it was just a form of lying. BUT, his favorite way to point it out? He'd say, "If I've told you once, I've told you a THOUSAND times not to exaggerate!" and then die laughing.

  4. Hee hee hee. Gotta always stay one step ahead of the kid. Wait til she discovers the true value of a million. Then you can teach her about infinity...plus one.

    CP.

  5. Teach them the word infinity! This will also become useful when the kids argue with each other. "Uh huh." "Nuh uh." "Uh huh infinity." "...Mom!"
