Why Indeed

On seeing a commercial advertising the pilot episode of a T.V. show called "Six Degrees" (except with the number 6 and that little circle that means "degrees"), in which a giddily happy woman appears to be perched atop and at the helm of, a moving fire engine, topless:

Me: "Why is that woman riding the firetruck topless?"

Alex: "Why NOT?"

Mars and Venus, people. Mars and Venus.

  2. Ha! I'm seeing the STUPIDEST shows on TV right now. How stupid do they really think we are?

  3. Sex sells....

The question is: how much would we have to get paid in order to perch atop a fire engine with our breasts hanging out?

  4. Yes, and if it were a naked man perched on top of the firetruck?

He'd feel emasculated by the length of the hose.

    Men are dorks. *L*

  5. First of all, my husband would have said the exact same thing.

Is the show you're talking about on ABC on Thursday night? Because if so, did they really show a woman topless? Wow.

  6. My husband feels that naked breasts should never need justification.

  7. Breasts never cease to shock and awe, do they? Men = simple, simple beings.

  8. CLASSIC.

Then again, given the choice, I'd rather see a naked woman than a naked man. Unless we're talking Viggo Mortensen, in which case it would require serious consideration over a few pitchers of Screwdrivers.
