Bella had left the room where her daddy and I were, and it had gotten very quiet. We called her, and got no answer. Called again, and again no answer. Then Alex put on his BIG voice (this is truly a sound to behold--or would that be "behear?"), and called, "IS-A-BEL-LA!"
At this point, she comes stomping quickly into the room, exasperated expression on her face, throws her arms up with an air of frustration, and asks, in her most irked tone of voice, "NOW what?"
Apparently, we are more inhibiting to her free creative process than we knew. But you can be sure that, for the next several days, we'll all be walking around saying "NOW what?" every time our names are called.
